The chrome garnish and rear skid plate provide the CR-V with an individual and purposeful look, while the door mirrors’ curved edges harmonise with the overall design, reducing blind spots around the car. The dramatic window design provides superb all-round visibility and makes it a pleasure to be seen in. Interior 5-6 Refined and spacious With every feature in the CR-V’s cockpit positioned exactly where you need it, the driver is always in control. The elegant layout of the dashboard presents advanced driving technology in the simplest of ways, placing essential information directly in the line of sight making it easily accessible and readable. The digital instrument cluster adds to the overall convenience of the journey by providing useful information related to your journey, with operation controls located on the leather steering wheel*. The CR-V’s spacious interior has been designed to create a haven from a busy world - a quiet, refined and relaxed ambience that is pleasurable to travel in, as a driver or passenger. The soft touch material on the door panels and dashboard add extra quality to the car. The driver’s seat can be adjusted for overall comfort and has electronic memory to record two programmable settings to ensure optimal support. For more information on which grades these and other features are available on, please refer to specification pages 15 - 18. Safety & Security 7-8 REAR CAMERA LANEWATCHTM Parking’s easy when you can see everything behind you, all thanks to the smart rear parking camera. Warns the driver of any vehicles located in the blind spot of the passenger side when changing lanes. Putting your safety first A great deal of complex engineering has gone into the CR-V in order to keep you, as well as your passengers, safe. FORWARD COLLISION WARNING In the event that the front camera picks up a car in front of you, the system will warn you, allowing you time to take action. Most times you won’t even notice it, but clever technology is always at work while you are driving. It’s all about co-operative control - each safety feature works seamlessly with the others to give constant support to the driver. We have subjected the CR-V to vigorous testing in order to ensure that it is the best that it can possibly be. FRONT & REAR PARKING SENSORS These sensors produce an audible signal when near an object, so you can swing confidently into the tightest of parking spots. ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED 4WD SYSTEM WHIPLASH MITIGATION FRONT SEATS ACTIVE CORNERING LIGHTS Real-Time All Wheel Drive with Intelligent Control System allows the CR-V to transition automatically between completely four-wheel capabilities in rain and snow, on dirt roads and dry tarmac. In the event of a collision, the seatback springs are optimised so that the seat will absorb the occupant’s impact more equally, and in a manner that can minimise the severity of a whiplash injury. The early detection of road hazards means that you will have enough time to react to the situation and take the necessary steps to rectify the situation. The Active Cornering Light illuminates the turning you are about to take, from the moment you indicate or turn the steering wheel. Features are not found on all trim grades. 9 Safety Features 10 ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL (ACC) WITH LOW SPEED FOLLOW COLLISION MITIGATION BRAKING SYSTEM (CMBS) Sense the safety Interior dash The Honda Sensing suite of driver assist technologies is not only state of the art, but specifically engineered to cater to your every safety need. Wherever you go, you’ll feel secure going there. Ergonomically, one of the key interior highlights is the introduction of a full-colour TFT driver information interface. Located in a dedicated binnacle directly ahead of the driver, the display is dominated by a graph-type rev counter, accompanied by a digital speedometer. LANE KEEPING ASSIST SYSTEM (LKAS) The LKAS is engineered to gently correct your steering when you begin to leave a detected lane without signalling, applying torque progressively to the steering to help guide you back to the centre of the lane. COLLISION MITIGATION BRAKING SYSTEM™ (CMBS®) To help reduce the likelihood or severity of a frontal impact, the available CMBS® is engineered to apply the brakes if you don’t slow down when it senses you’re at risk of a collision. If it still senses an imminent collision, CMBS® is designed to brake firmly. ROAD DEPARTURE MITIGATION (RDM) SYSTEM The available Road Departure Mitigation system is designed to help steer and even apply the brakes when necessary to help keep the vehicle from leaving the road. The ACC system is designed to keep a set speed and set the following interval behind a vehicle detected ahead of yours, including the ability to start and stop the vehicle with the flow of traffic. Primary warning: When there’s a risk of collision ahead, or the distance between the two vehicles is too short, the alarm sounds and the word BRAKE appears on the digital instrument cluster. This alerts the driver to take action in order to avoid a collision. At the next stage, there’s a chance that a collision will occur. The CMBS system starts emergency braking and activates the brake assist function to reduce speed. At the same time the seatbelt tightens to reduce the impact of the collision on the driver and front passenger. Also prominent is the 7-inch Display Audio interface that offers easier access to the vehicle’s infotainment features.The system offers enhanced functionality, including Apple CarPlay integration, which allows seamless integration of iPhone features and functions, such as the iDevice’s own GPS navigation, voice-controlled search capability, and selected apps. During highway driving Driver Attention Monitor continually monitors and assesses driver behaviour behind the wheel to help determine if the driver is becoming inattentive then if so, it uses visual, sound or even vibration to warn the driver to take a break. With dual-zone climate control, you have the freedom to adjust and control driver and passenger airflow and temperatures separately. LANE DEPARTURE WARNING (LDW) SYSTEM The LDW system is designed to monitor vehicle lane position and alert you when your vehicle drifts into a new lane when you haven’t signalled. FORWARD COLLISION WARNING (FCW) SYSTEM The FCW system that is integrated with CMBS® is designed to detect the presence of vehicles in front of you and issue alerts if you’re approaching with too much speed. If you fail to respond to the alerts, the CMBS® is triggered into operation.
