A willing accomplice that’s ready when you are The HR-V is the perfect mix that feels like a thrilling coupé but has the strength and versatility of the SUV you need. No matter where you’re going, whether it’s a beach holiday or city adventure, the Honda HR-V is ready, willing and able to get you there safely and in style. CONTENTS 03 Exterior 05 Interior 07 Connect 09 Safety 11 Model Line-Up 13 Accessories 14 Colours 15 Specifications & Features 3-4 Exterior A stance with strength The Honda HR-V has dynamic styling, sophisticated looks and attitude, which, combined with its defined, sleek upper body, makes this an advanced and attractive SUV. However, the strong, sculptural lines evoke a sense of sports car as well as SUV, making it the perfect partner to any kind of driver. But the SUV side of it that makes it what it is: your essential adventure partner. To ensure you can take full advantage of a wide visibility range, the seats are positioned high in the vehicle. Ultimate traveller essentials like the front fog lights, 17'' alloy wheels, shark fin antenna and tailgate spoiler command the attention the HR-V deserves. LED indicators are placed in the door mirrors, while highly attractive LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), LED auto-adjust headlights, and LED tail lights look sophisticated and emit a glow reminiscent of some future time. Every inch of the HR-V permeates the sense of adventure. From the rear door handles that are concealed just behind the window, to the stylish black grille and trim to the roof rails, it’s clear that the HR-V is exactly the kind of accomplice you want on your journey through life. 5-6 Interior Explore the great indoors Magic Seats® in action The inside of the HR-V has a place for everything and puts everything in its place. It’s cleverly placed compartments and streamlined design maximises storage space to make sure you have all the space you need for the more important things – the people you take with you. Your comfort was a high priority in the design of the HR-V. The soft-touch centre console and dashboard, sophisticated stitch detail, and piano black and chrome accents will make you feel like you’re in your one true home, no matter where you are or where you’re going. The HR-V comes ready for an adventure thanks to Honda’s Magic Seats®, which fold in a multitude of configurations, also the astonishingly low, extrawide tailgate makes taking everything and the kitchen sink with you, easier than ever. TALL MODE We all have those days when we need a little height to get that last thing in. Whether it’s a trip to the nursery or a full on hardware shopping spree you can take full advantage of the distance between floor and ceiling by flipping up the rear seats. LONG MODE The things you need on an expedition won’t always be the right shape, but if you flip down all the seats on one side and you’ll be able to create a long space perfect for awkward items like surfboards or long planks. UTILITY MODE If there’s one thing you always need on an adventure, its space. Just use the lie-flat rear seats in the HR-V and you can take absolutely everything you need with you. A stack of camping equipment is no problem for this SUV. 7-8 Connect Connect with the HR-V The audio unit makes sure you’re always connected. The easy-to-use swipe and tap display means you have access to your phone contacts, music and trip information at all times.* MULTIMEDIA The HR-V gives you all the options you need – a USB port and HDMI® port**, plus Bluetooth® audio streaming*. So you won’t miss a single beat. Plus, you can always tune in to your favourite station with the AM/FM radio. The 7-inch display Audio interface offers enhanced functionality, including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration. HANDSFREE CONNECTIVITY Your compatible Smartphone and the HR-V make it easy to stay connected wherever you are. With Bluetooth® you can control your contact list, music and more, without taking your hands off the wheel. USB/HDMI® PORTS This means while you skip through your playlists on-screen using your compatible Smartphone, all your gadgets are charging right next to you. When stationary you can watch videos off your connected device with an HDMI® ready video player*. TRIP INFORMATION AND SETTINGS The HR-V makes sure you have all the important information at hand exactly when you need it, in fact you can customise it to display the data that matters most, ranging from trip distance to fuel consumption. *Requires compatible Bluetooth device. **Specifications may vary AUTO BRAKE HOLD ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE When the driver brakes and stops the vehicle in traffic, remaining stationary for some time, the Auto Brake Hold is activated to hold the vehicle position. It is then automatically released upon acceleration. The manual handbrake has been replaced with an easily activated parking brake switch. Safety 9-10 EMERGENCY STOP SIGNAL (ESS) Occasionally a situation requires sudden, heavy braking. The HR-V automatically flashes its hazard lights to alert those behind you when you stop suddenly. We’re obsessed with safety ADVANCED COMPATIBILITY ENGINEERING (ACE) REAR VIEW CAMERA A brilliantly innovative body structure means that the impact from frontal collisions is directed away from the passenger compartment. Parking is easy when you can see everything behind you, all thanks to the wide rear view camera in the HR-V. Honda knows that safety is more important than any other feature in a car, and that’s why the HR-V is packed full of sophisticated engineering designed to give you the peace of mind you need. PARKING SENSORS Parking sensors produce an audible alert to let you know how much space exists between you and the nearest object. ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS) AND ELECTRONIC BRAKE FORCE DISTRIBUTION (EBD) The HR-V comes standard with ABS for superior stopping power. When emergency braking is detected Brake Assist applies maximum braking pressure whilst EBD monitors and adjusts the brake force on each wheel. VEHICLE STABILITY ASSIST (VSA) HILL START ASSIST (HSA) In adverse driving conditions, the HR-V is able to detect over-steer or under-steer, and automatically adjust its path for stability and safety. It can also manage brake pressure and engine power to help you regain control. HSA prevents ’rolling back’ when starting on an incline. The system controls brake pressure, keeping the car stationary as you release the brake pedal and prepare to accelerate. AIRBAGS The clever Honda i-SRS driver airbag system inflates at different rates depending on the severity of the impact, seatbelt usage, and a whole host of other factors to keep you and your passengers safe. Front, side and full-length curtain airbags come standard. *For more information on which grades these and other features are available on, please refer to specification pages 15 - 18 11-12 11 - 12 Model Line-Up Comfort Elegance 1.5 i-VTEC 1.8 i-VTEC CVT Transmission CVT Transmission Comfort features include: In addition to the Comfort, the Elegance includes: 16” Alloy wheels Fabric upholstery USB connection* Bluetooth® hands free telephone (HFT) system Magic Seats® One motion dive down flat folding rear seats 60/40 Manual air conditioning Electric windows – Front & rear (All auto) Armrests - Front Multi-function steering wheel Cruise Control Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) Hill Start Assist (HSA) Electronic Parking Brake Auto Brake Hold Headlights Auto-Off Timer Roof rails Chrome outer door handles *Always use the recommended USB flash memory device.
