It will shift the way you move. Choice of engines The 2.5 litre engine offers the energetic responsiveness of a V6 with the fuel economy of a 4 cylinder. While the 3.5 litre is the latest generation of Nissan’s legendary VQ engine series; the most awarded V6 engine series in history. Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) Forget 5, 6 or 7 gears, CVT offers a virtually infinite number of ratios. So instead of feeling gear changes, you will experience smooth acceleration as you reach your desired speed. If you want to take control, you can use Manual Mode to shift through the preset ratios yourself. Speed-sensing steering The hydraulic power steering changes the feeling of the steering dependent on your speed. The result is a more direct, confident experience when travelling at high speed, and a lighter touch for easy parking and slow speed manoeuvring. Ride comfort The Nissan Maxima’s platform design offers excellent handling, low noise vibration and impressive safety. The multi-link rear suspension contributes to a ride experience that is sleek, fluid and seemingly effortless. Intelligent Key and push button ignition No more fumbling for keys. The Intelligent Key stays in your pocket or bag while you open the door by pushing a button. Once inside, there is no need to put the key in the ignition, as a button on the dash will start the engine. Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) A safety system to help keep you on your intended path, VDC senses if your vehicle starts to lose grip on the road. To help you maintain control, engine power is reduced or braking power applied to specific wheels. Traction Control System (TCS) Sensing when a front wheel is spinning, TCS responds by reducing throttle or applying brake pressure to help improve traction. Brake Assist (BA) & Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) More than “just stopping”, Brake Assist senses emergency braking and automatically helps to apply maximum braking pressure if needed. Then, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution sends extra force to the rear brakes when it senses additional weight in the back. 350 Ti interior shown. Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) In an event of an emergency situation, ABS will moderate the brakes to help the driver maintain stability and steering control as well as preventing the brakes from locking. Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) After you’ve buckled your seat belt, it will allow you free movement but instantly lock in an emergency to keep you safe. Automatic Locking Retractor (ALR) You can lock the rear seat belt to the length required to firmly secure child seats, when used in combination with the child seat anchorage points. Leather interior Enjoy the luxury of double stitched leather trim seats, leather bound steering wheel and a leather shift lever.* 8-way power driver’s seat At the touch of a finger you’ll achieve the absolutely perfect driving position.
