But there’s far more to it than that. Small enough to tackle congested city streets, yet big enough to eat up the miles on the open road, Corsavan offers surprising load capacity, generous levels of space, comfort, security and safety. Few vans can match Corsavan’s low running costs. And even fewer can match its low fuel consumption – from both the new 1.2i 16v Twinport petrol engine and the super-efficient common rail turbo diesel 1.3CDTi 16v, now available with Easytronic transmission. If you want to reduce fuel costs even further, a 1.2i 16v Twinport petrol/ LPG dualfuel model is available. With extended service intervals of up to 30,000 miles/two years on the diesel model, a threeyear/60,000 mile warranty plus a class-leading insurance rating, it’s easy to see why Corsavan has such a reputation for economy and peace of mind. And now, for easier about town driving, it’s also available with Vauxhall’s unique five-speed Easytronic transmission – a manual and an automatic rolled into one. The new 1.2i 16v Twinport petrol unit also matches high economy with useable performance and Euro 4 emissions compliance. And a fully warranted 1.2i 16v Twinport petrol/LPG dualfuel model is also available. Corsavan’s flexible service plan is equally cost-conscious, using an on-board computer to monitor how the vehicle is driven, it calculates the optimum service interval – up to 20,000 miles/two years on the 1.2i 16v Twinport and 30,000 miles/two years on the 1.3CDTi 16v diesel engine. And there’s also a wide choice of options, such as airconditioning and a range of advanced radio/CD players like the CDC 40 with six-disc CD autochanger and Digital Audio Broadcast (DAB), or the CD 70 with satellite navigation. PROTECTION To further protect your Combo while driving offroad, on forest tracks for example, underbody protection and increased ground clearance is available at extra cost. [2] SECURITY No van operator can afford to lose stock or tools, and theft of the van itself can have serious consequences for any business. So Combo features a wide range of high security features designed to protect your investment and keep load area contents where they belong. SAFETY Combo’s safety features are specifically designed to protect the occupants from impacts and shifting loads. [3] All 1.7CDTi 16v and 2000 GVW models now come with rear disc brakes too (along with 15-inch wheels and full diameter flush wheel covers). Yet the option to seat five requires almost no compromise on load carrying ability. In fact, with the rear seats folded flat to the floor, the crew van models offer 1980mm of load floor length. With the rear seats in the upright position, it still delivers a long 980mm of load floor length, with a 60/40 split-folding rear seat back further enhancing the flexibility of this unique vehicle. And a load area rubber floor mat to fit behind the rear seats is also provided as standard. As well as being extremely versatile, the Combo crew van is also very safe, with all-round disc brakes and both driver’s and front passenger’s airbags fitted as standard. Inertia-reel lap and diagonal seatbelts and height-adjustable head restraints are also provided for each rear passenger. And for additional passenger safety, an accessory steel or nylon upper load restraint mesh can be located behind either the front or rear seats.
